We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Business Applications to lead our organization's technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in NetSuite, CRM solutions, data modernization, business intelligence (BI) tools, analytics, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), middleware technologies, and vendor management. As the Senior Manager of Business Applications, you will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive NetSuite & Business Applications Roadmap to support our operational and strategic objectives. This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on involvement to ensure effective application management and optimization.


This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in the Atlanta office.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership:

o Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for business applications aligned with organizational goals.

o Provide leadership and foster innovation within the business applications team.


Application Management:

o Oversee maintenance, expansion, and optimization of NetSuite across various modules including Financial Management, Order to Cash (OTC), Procurement to Pay (P2P), Inventory and Supply Chain Management, CRM, WMS, and analytics.

o Ensure seamless integration of business applications with existing systems and processes.

o Manage vendor relationships and contracts to maximize technology investments.

o Lead EDI implementation and middleware technologies to enhance system communications.


Data Modernization:

o Lead initiatives to modernize data infrastructure, including the development and implementation of data lakes and data warehouses.

o Ensure data architecture supports robust analytics and business intelligence capabilities.


Business Intelligence & Analytics:

o Drive adoption and utilization of BI tools to deliver actionable insights.

o Collaborate with business units to identify analytics needs and develop solutions.


Project Management:

o Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

o Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, and documentation.


Hands-On Tactical Work:

o Engage in hands-on technical work to support the implementation and optimization of business applications.

o Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in collaboration with IT and business teams.


Vendor and Contract Management:

o Manage third-party vendors and contract resources to ensure the successful delivery of services and projects.

o Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring compliance and alignment with business needs.


Team Development:

o Mentor and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals.

o Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that promotes knowledge sharing and continuous learning.


Compliance and Security:

o Ensure NetSuite configurations comply with regulatory requirements.

o Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data.


Education:


oBachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; Masters degree preferred.


Experience:

o5+ years expertise with BI tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker), including dashboard creation, data visualization, and reporting.

o1-3 years experience creating and maintaining data warehouses, data lakes with a strong understanding of ETL processes.

oProven expertise in developing data strategies and implementing data warehouses or data lakes.

oDemonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, particularly in the realms of CRM and BI.

o5-10 years of experience in ERP systems, with at least 3 years hands-on experience in NetSuite.

oExtensive knowledge of NetSuite modules, customization, scripting (SuiteScript), and integration tools (SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow).

oStrong background in EDI implementation and middleware technologies.

oProficiency in SQL, data modeling, and programming languages.

oExperience managing third-party vendors and contractors effectively.

oExperience with NetSuite partners like RFSmart, ShipHawk, Celigo, Avalara, Zendesk, BREX, and SPSCommerce is a plus.

oNetSuite SuiteFoundation, Administrator, or ERP Consultant certifications is a plus.
