Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Application Development Expert

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Location: Atlanta area (Hybrid - 3 days in office)

Job Summary:

GSquared Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the development and deployment of a custom application for a leading restaurant group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driving high-visibility, enterprise custom application development projects using the SDLC methodology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage all phases of custom application development projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders. Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • SDLC Oversight: Oversee the full SDLC, ensuring adherence to best practices and methodologies. Coordinate with development teams to align project goals with technical requirements and quality standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues early, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address any challenges that arise during the project.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage project resources, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring the efficient use of team members and tools.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that the final product meets the highest standards of quality. Implement and oversee testing protocols and address any defects or improvements.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience managing custom application development projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery for enterprise-level companies.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of web and mobile application development processes, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), and technologies.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive complex projects, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
