Point C is hiring an Account Executive, Client Services to join their team on a full-time basis - Remote Opportunity

TITLE: Account Executive, Client Services


This position is responsible for account management and retention of key client accounts, as well as assisting in the growth of target client base. Serving as a product and service expert in all phases of the client business development and ongoing maintenance. Continually cultivating and building relationships with client and internal partners.

Department: Client Services
Reports to: Vice President, Client Services
FLSA Exemption: Exempt
Position Location: Remote

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute specific strategic service plans to ensure collaborative efforts between brokers and plan sponsors to meet common objectives
  • Direct activity of client service support team – from implementation, problem resolution through renewal activities
  • Maintain senior management level contact with varying staff at the plan sponsor (Benefits, Human Resources, and Finance)
  • Responsible for service delivery of products and services that ensure plan sponsor satisfaction

Required Job Qualifications:
  • 5 – 7 years previous client management experience and/or experience in a similar TPA or insurance environment with client facing/client support responsibilities
  • Thorough understanding of self-funding and employee benefit plans; stop loss understanding a plus; knowledge and understanding of benefit related federal laws (i.e., ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Results oriented and self-motivated
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as are exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to interact with senior level executives
  • Analytical skills, problem solving skills, creative decision-making skills, the ability to comprehend and follow instructions, mathematical ability, and time management skills are required
  • Ability to travel is required
  • Legally able to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or related experience
  • State insurance license
Point C is a partnership of third-party administrators (TPAs) focused on providing services to businesses that self-fund their medical benefits. Point C actively acquires independent and 'like-minded' TPAs within the continental US encouraging each partner to retain their unique local identities while creating value at the platform level through centralizing back-office functions, improving technology, and optimizing vendor relationships. The Point C Corporate team supports each partner while leading strategic investments in resources and systems, facilitating sharing of best practices, and implementing value creation initiatives across the entities.
