Account Executive
Reports to: Associate Account Director or Account Director
Position Purpose:
The Phaedon Account Executive (AE) is the driving force behind every project they touch. This role requires someone who can confidently run with a project in partnership with the rest of the client team to deliver flawless execution of work. The AE interacts directly with clients in support of the account team and strives to build a strong client relationship that is based on trust. The AE is the foremost expert on pop culture, constantly staying on top of trends with an eye towards how we can help clients can participate in the conversation in authentic, breakthrough ways that drive their business forward.
Ideal Candidate Summary:
Minimum of one account management internship or junior role in an agency environment required. Exudes professionalism and has strong instincts for client service and the agency business. Takes direction well and also has the ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment. A natural multi-tasker who can prioritize across several projects and more than one account with strong attention to detail. Understands media relations and brings experience in pitching, drafting media materials and developing media lists. Must be driven, motivated, curious and outgoing. Demonstrates knowledge of and passion for the industry, integrity, confidence and an entrepreneurial spirit. Welcomes partnership with colleagues to drive success together.

Essential Functions, Knowledge and Skills:
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow through
- Research and develop competitive audit and analysis
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- Understands media relations and tools needed to be successful (pitches, media lists, key messages)

- Accurate, thorough and timely reporting in the form of meeting recaps and status reports

Education & Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree, preferably in advertising, public relations or communications.
- 1-2 years of prior agency experience.
- Ability to travel is preferred.
