Instructional Empowerment  (IE) is a dynamic forward-thinking educational organization committed to providing teachers and leaders with the tools and skills needed to impact generational poverty through core instruction.  We work with schools all over the nation to implement evidence-based solutions that empower students, teachers, and leaders. 
Our growing organization is seeking an experienced Scheduling Specialist who can successfully organize and schedule Instructional Empowerment’s professional development. As the Scheduling Specialist, you will be expected to build relationships with District contacts and develop open communication channels to foster accurate and timely communications.  In addition, you will enter data specific to the delivery and customer purchase information into our CMS to support the scheduling, billing and material delivery for clients and faculty. You will be responsible for proactively managing training material inventory by monitoring stock levels and adjusting orders to ensure timely fulfillment. As Scheduling Specialist, you will be required to routinely communicate and collaborate with customers, faculty and a variety of internal departments. In addition, you will be responsible for compliance and implementation of state statues and school policies with IE work in schools.

We need an experienced Scheduling Specialist with:
• At least 2 years relevant work experience providing excellent Customer Service.
• Proven success collaborating with internal and external customers.
• Demonstrated success displaying accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proactive approach toward professional goals.
• Effective communication skills, verbal and written (including phone, email, virtual conferencing, and active listening).
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Demonstrated success working in both self-directed and team-directed environments.
• Experience adapting well to change.
• Computer literacy and proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Suite.
• Must be able to exercise sound judgment.
• Proactive work ethic with the ability to recognize and raise risks

Who can perform these essential functions of the Scheduling Specialist position:
 Professional Development scheduling and logistics:
• Coordinate professional development sessions including scheduling, materials, and other administrative tasks.
• Maintain accurate training material inventory levels by monitoring stock and adjusting orders based on outgoing shipments.
• Order, track, and schedule delivery of training materials to external customers.

Internal and external customer communication
• Communicate effectively with clients and faculty via email, phone, and video conferencing.
• Provide faculty with accurate customer contact information.
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

 Cross functional support
• Assist team members and management with administrative tasks.
• Serve as the liaison between IE and inventory supplier.
• Coordinate meetings with faculty, providing necessary documentation and follow-up

Where and when you will work: This is a full-time hybrid position that resides in Blairsville, Pennsylvania. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. (EST). There may be times when evening/weekend work is necessary to meet the needs of the customer.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
