Position Title: Behavior Technician

As a Behavior Technician at Behavior Plan Licensed Behavior Specialist, you will be instrumental in providing structured and therapeutic behavior analysis services in various settings. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute personalized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), concentrating on skill enhancement, behavior modification, and social interaction.
  • Accurately gather and record data on client behaviors and progress, contributing to the continuous evaluation and modification of treatment strategies.
  • Establish and uphold positive behavioral practices to encourage skill acquisition and support individual aspirations.
  • Transport and manage company-provided materials to and from client locations.
  • Deliver direct support to clients, adhering to the specific directives and methodologies set forth by the supervising BCBA.
  • Address behavioral escalations or urgent situations by implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Crisis Management procedures.
  • Complete daily session notes and any additional documentation required by the end of each day.
  • Foster and maintain positive, therapeutic relationships with clients and their families, aiding them in their journey toward achieving personal milestones.
  • Assist with assessments, program materials, or other clinical needs to enhance session effectiveness.
  • Attend all scheduled sessions and comply with attendance policies and procedures.
  • Engage in regular supervisory and team meetings to discuss client progress, receive constructive feedback, ensure program fidelity, and learn about new policies and techniques.
  • Adhere to the ethical guidelines and standards of practice established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold patient confidentiality.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures diligently.
  • Complete all administrative and billing tasks by specified deadlines.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports to the Clinical Director and BCBA/Supervisory staff overseeing direct cases.
