We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of all machinery and equipment while maintaining a safe and functional environment. If you have experience in facilities management, project management, and a strong background in maintenance, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements:

  • Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
  • Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
  • Create maintenance procedures and ensure they are followed.
  • Regularly inspect facilities to identify and resolve issues.
  • Oversee all repair and installation activities.
  • Track expenses and manage the maintenance budget.
  • Supervise maintenance staff and allocate workloads. Create training as necessary and coordinate plan.
  • Maintain effective working relationships within the department and with other departments to establish a productive and positive work environment.
  • Work directly with the Maintenance Planner to update preventative maintenance and repair schedule as necessary.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies. Correct unsafe acts/conditions, and investigate as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a maintenance manager or in a similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
  • Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business administration or facility management is a plus.
