Director of Resident Services

We're seeking to fill the role of Director of Resident Services.

Director of Resident Services Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2 years experience in Assisted Living facilities or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
  • BSN, RN or LPN with current MA license preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, emotionally charged environment when working with staff, families and residents.

Director of Resident Services Job Summary:

  • Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists and other team members in developing and implementing the individual resident service plan.
  • Work with Resident Care Managers (CNA) to ensure the service plan is understood and care or service provided.
  • Direct, evaluate and supervise all resident care and initiate corrective action as necessary.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Admissions to provide or ensure that all potential resident admission assessments are completed.
  • Work with Staff Development to develop, prepare and analyze quality assurance reports to EOEA and others for the quality assurance program.
  • Identify safety hazards and their remedies while monitoring resident safety on a regular basis.
  • Participate in all care plan meetings at St. Patrick’s Manor for Carmel Terrace residents and for potential transition of residents from the skilled setting to Carmel Terrace.
  • Function as liaison between staff, administration, families and service providers.
  • Maintain budget requirements and provides appropriate recommendations for staffing, supplies and equipment.
