We're seeking to fill the role of Director of Resident Services.
Director of Resident Services Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Current, unencumbered MA RN - Registered Nurse or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse license required.
- 2 years experience in Assisted Living facilities or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, emotionally charged environment when working with staff, families and residents.
Director of Resident Services Job Summary:
- Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists and other team members in developing and implementing the individual resident service plan.
- Work with Resident Care Managers (CNA) to ensure the service plan is understood and care or service provided.
- Direct, evaluate and supervise all resident care and initiate corrective action as necessary.
- Work closely with Marketing and Admissions to provide or ensure that all potential resident admission assessments are completed.
- Work with Staff Development to develop, prepare and analyze quality assurance reports to EOEA and others for the quality assurance program.
- Identify safety hazards and their remedies while monitoring resident safety on a regular basis.
- Participate in all care plan meetings at St. Patrick’s Manor for Carmel Terrace residents and for potential transition of residents to Carmel Terrace.
- Function as liaison between staff, administration, families and service providers.
- Maintain budget requirements and provides appropriate recommendations for staffing, supplies and equipment.
