This is a direct hire position with our client in Tucson, AZ.

 

Salary: From $50,000 + Commission & Comprehensive Benefits Package

 

Must Haves:

  • End to end Catering/Wedding/Social event experience 
  • Previous experience selling events 
  • Flexible schedule - requires nights/weekends
  • Previous experience in sales, vendor/customer relationship management
  • Work 20-30 hrs at the Restaurant and 10-20 hours offsite at events, trade shows, fairs, vendor meetings, etc.
 

What you’ll do:

 
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize event bookings.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and industry partners.
  • Collaborate closely with the event planning team including catering & operations, to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients like business owners, brides, etc.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure profitable business deals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
  • Provide world class customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Document and organize all transactions, information and event plans 
  • Support Restaurant staff, assisting Front Office, Catering Sales, etc. capturing potential business and assisting the team where needed
