The Opportunity:
We are looking for Supplier Compliance Analyst based in Rochester, NY or surrounding areas. The Supplier Compliance Analyst will have demonstrated competence in DoD contracting, commercial contracting, and international contracting with strong knowledge and experience in U.S. Government compliance.
Our Technology:
Safran Federal Systems provides Resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (R-PNT) solutions and custom engineering services to U.S. Government agencies, defense organizations and their contractors. Safran Federal Systems is authorized to work on the full spectrum of U.S. Government classified and unclassified projects, in addition to supporting strategic partnerships for key defense PNT technologies.
How I will contribute:
- Accountable for developing a plan for Cybersecurity requirements for our supply base IAW NIST/FARS/DFARS requirements. Responsible for communication of requirements to suppliers directly (with Supply chain in the know), ensuring suppliers are clear on the expectation of them to meet these requirements, tracking status of supplier compliance, and internally reporting progress to cross-functional management.
- Responsible for outreach to supply base to document supplier diversity classifications (i.e. Small Business, VOSB, SDVOSB, HUBZone, SDB, WOSB, etc.)
- Take the lead on moving the Approved Vendor List into the ERP system, noting supplier’s diversity classification and status of cybersecurity status. This will allow for automation of tracking.
- Act as our Small Business Liaison Officer which would include creation of small business plans and reporting of status as required.
- Create, manage and audit process of flow down requirements to suppliers.
- Review, audit and report on supplier metrics to include but not limited to: DPAS rated orders, Cybersecurity certifications and supplier classification.
- Conduct recurring presentations to leadership on notable Supplier Compliance topics to include but not limited to: Cybersecurity certifications and supplier classifications.
- Create a method to manage and report supplier spend to track small business set aside percentages and goals.
- Audit and reporting responsibilities for internal processes.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of Government contracting compliance or related
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
- Independent judgment and analysis applied to resolution of compliance issues.
- Ability to capture and report compliance metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to provide sound interpretation of, and application of, Government contracting and procurement regulations.
- Understanding and working knowledge of federal Cybersecurity requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate and interact effectively, both internally with technical staff and management as well as external customers and suppliers.
- Ability to work in a fast pace, complex environment and effectively multi-task to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
