We at Amherst Family Dental are looking to add a team member to our practice. We have a full time opening for a receptionist role.

Our ideal candidate will always come to work with a smile and be prepared for their day. Asking that you have 2+ years Dental experience (preferred), be self-motivated, organized, and mindful of your time management. We are interested in those that pay attention to detail and who have exceptional verbal and written skills, along with great follow through.

Responsibilities:

You are the first person most of our patients will hear and see. These may be some, but not limited to the responsibilities that you’ll be expected to perform

•Answer incoming calls

•Schedule appointments

•Maintain full and well-balanced provider schedules

•Confirm scheduled appointments

•Update personal demographics

•Answer questions patients present

•Gather and input insurance information

•Manage referral processes

•Enter payments

•Documentation

•Maintain a clean and friendly work area.

•Arrive to work timely and in presentable manner.

Qualifications:

Experience working in a dental, medical, or other health-care office, preferred

Knowledge of insurance plans is a plus

Experience answering telephone

Knowledgeable working with Dental Software

Must have exceptional customer service skills

**Pay based on experience – Amount in ad shows a possible starting wage only. We believe each individual comes with their own set of qualifications that represent the wage & benefit package we’re willing to offer.
