Sayres is seeking an experienced Risk Management Program Analyst with a current SECRET clearance in Washington, DC. This position would support 2-3 days in office, hybrid remote based out of DC area.

This position will manage the application of Navy/DoD analytical risk management principles that enable organizations to achieve mission assurance by:

  • Working across shipbuilding contract in support of the Ship Design, Construction Test, Evaluation, and Certification to access Risk and identify program threats, watch items, risks, issues, opportunities, and constraints focusing on cost, schedule, and technical performance
  • Determining contingency plans and initiate appropriate planning, including identifying a risk owner and stakeholders responsible for the action
  • Assessing mitigation plans, corrective action plans, and capture plans to ensure progress, resolution, and closure
  • Communicating with stakeholders the process for uncovering, identifying, determining the scope, analyzing, mitigating, correcting, capturing, monitoring, and managing program uncertainties with appropriate rigor
  • Applying basic principles, theories, and concepts and limited industry knowledge
  • Developing Risk Management reports and Risk Management Briefs
  • Coordinate Risk Management Review Boards

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering, Analytical or Technical Degree
  • 5 years of experience with risk management in shipbuilding industry
  • Experience with executing Navy/DoD Risk Management practices
  • Experience with logging and maintaining risks and issues into a Risk Register
  • Experience with generating Risk Report briefings to clients
  • Knowledge of Risk Management process, including identification, assessment, mitigation planning, and management

Security Clearance: SECRET clearance required.
