We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. This individual must be experienced in exterior home remodeling and construction; this is a role that combines your competitive drive and desire to be a part of a team.

The Operations Manager will oversee the production, sales, and insurance divisions including operational activities within every level of production. In addition, this individual is responsible for developing new opportunities by maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, employees and/or customers. This leadership role will be the bridge between our leaders in the field and our corporate office ensuring that operational activities remain on time and within budget for The Third Estimate.

 

Responsibilities:


  • Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company’s efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Assess, analyze, and is accountable for the Operations budget.
  • Completion of OSHA for self and keep track of training for the team as needed.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with employees, key stakeholders, customers, and subcontractors.
  • Improve customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural change.
  • Pre-construction planning as well as job/materials ordering and scheduling.
  • Implement and monitor the Service Installation Standards & contractors for all services offered.
  • Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
  • Supply inventory & P&L management.
  • Lead coordination and integration of efforts among operations, sales, technology, and customer service divisions to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes
  • Communicate and explain new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.
  • Manage warehouses and equipment across programs.
  • Ensure work environments are adequate and safe.
  • Oversee production, purchasing, insurance and sales departments, ensuring each is reaching goals set by departmental and company leadership.
  • Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • MBA in Business Management or another related field, preferred.
  • 5+ Years of Managerial Experience.
  • Extensive and diversified background with at least 10 years of related experience.
  • MS Office Proficiency - Excellent Computer Skills.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Superior managerial and diplomacy skills.
  • Best-in-class customer relations skills/techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Must be dependable, maintain regular attendance and be punctual.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in business and finance.
  • Highly driven, self-motivator.
