Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to lead our production team in Solon, Ohio. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning, assigning work, and ensuring daily productivity goals are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Production Team: Actively lead the team to plan, assign work, and produce customer orders.
  • Manage Work Order Maintenance: Manage work order maintenance through the production work cycle.
  • Operational Knowledge: Understand and demonstrate operational knowledge of production equipment and their capabilities.
  • Communication: Efficiently communicate with Material Handlers to ensure material is staged and ready before needed.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure all company policies and procedures are implemented as directed, and maintain a clean and safe work area following 5S principles.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support and implement continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure lot traceability is followed in all areas.
Requirements
  • Hard Skills: Operational knowledge of production equipment, work order maintenance, equipment programming, 5S principles, and cycle count program.
  • Soft Skills: Leadership, communication, continuous improvement, training, and safety and quality issue management.
