Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSenior Director, Human ResourcesThis is a full-time hybrid role as a Senior Director of Human Resources for an extremely successful Cleveland-based International Financial Services firm. The Senior Director will provide strategic and comprehensive HR support to the senior leadership team to support the firm’s objectives. This position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's HR operations, including developing HR policies, managing employee relations, overseeing performance management, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws. This role is based in Cleveland, Ohio.Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
  • Work with leadership to initiate an entirely new HR program including, but limited to, health benefits, 401k/pension, reimbursement programs and payroll for multiple international locations, ensuring clear communication to employees regarding these programs.
  • Manage and direct HR services and directives for offices located in Cleveland, San Francisco, London and Hong Kong
  • Liaise with third-party vendors in multiple countries to deliver HR services to colleagues
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization’s growth strategy related to staffing, recruiting and retention
  • Manage the recruiting process for all offices.
  • Deliver organization initiatives and processes including talent management and succession planning
  • Support the continued development of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development plans
  • Serve as a resource to managers and employees to address performance issues and organizational and structural changes
  • Play an integral role in the onboarding and development of new employees, overseeing the process and conducting a positive onboarding experience
  • Conduct annual research and analysis of market compensation and ensure pay equity across the firm
  • Develop and mentor human resources staff
  • Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports for senior management as needed.

  • Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Expertise in employee relations and conflict resolution
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven experience in performance management and talent development
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them, when appropriate
  • Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required
  • Preferred 15+ years’ experience, preferably in the Investment Management field
