Technical Source is currently in search of a Maintenance Planner for our client, a leading organization implementing SAP across its operations, located in the Greater Philadelphia area. The qualified candidate will have a strong background in ERP systems and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), with specific experience in data migration, asset tagging, and bill of materials management. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow into a full-time SAP Administrator role.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Planner include:

  • Transferring and migrating data from the existing maintenance management system to the new SAP CMMS/ERP system.
  • Performing data entry to ensure the accuracy and integrity of maintenance-related data, including equipment, spare parts, and bills of materials.
  • Introducing and tagging assets within the SAP system, including assigning spare parts and creating bills of materials.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that all necessary information is captured for equipment maintenance and inventory management.
  • Conducting data cleanup to standardize and organize information within the new system, ensuring alignment with industry standards and terminology.
  • Working closely with the implementation team to troubleshoot and resolve any data-related issues.
  • Documenting processes and providing support to end-users during and after the transition phase.

Qualifications of the Maintenance Planner include:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a maintenance planner with a focus on computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically SAP, with familiarity in asset management and maintenance processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle and analyze large volumes of data effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with industry terminology related to maintenance, spare parts, and equipment management.
