Position Summary

Responsibilities for the Digital Marketing Manager position include strategizing and executing effective and holistic digital marketing campaigns, increasing key performance metrics, and reporting on campaign performance for FSM clients. As the manager of the digital marketing team, this position establishes best practices and develops the team’s digital marketing expertise. This position reports to the Vice President of Performance. 

Responsibility #1 – Digital Marketing Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and build effective digital marketing campaigns
  • Guide keyword research and the construction of high-performing organic content strategies
  • Guide and review technical SEO strategies and performance
  • Review key metrics for client accounts and recommend strategic changes to achieve client business goals
  • Advise on optimization methods for ads, emails, and landing page creative (i.e.: copy, graphics, layout, story, funnel)
  • Actively analyze campaign content and landing pages to increase ROI and KPIs
  • Apply new tactics and emerging standards to ongoing strategies
  • Implement best-practice analytics/conversion tracking on websites and landing pages
  • Proactively identify on-page SEO and conversion opportunities
  • Monitor ongoing analytics for websites and marketing campaigns
  • Perform competitive and website analysis to identify opportunities
  • Regularly report internally and externally on campaign performance, ROI, and budgets
  • Consult with clients on digital marketing efforts

Responsibility #2 – Digital Marketing Management

  • Audit the digital marketing efforts of prospective clients
  • Provide recommendations for digital strategy, tactics, budget, spend to meet prospective and existing client goals
  • Establish and refine digital marketing processes
  • Train and educate FSM team members on digital marketing tactics
  • Guide professional growth of the digital marketing team (skills, expertise, certifications, etc.)
  • Oversee digital production while jumping in as needed for tactical implementation

Skill Set

  • A mind for interpreting data and gaining insights
  • Ability to discover and understand target markets and audiences

  • Commitment to constant learning
  • Comfortable with data analysis techniques and advanced spreadsheet work
  • Functional knowledge of Tag Manager and conversion tracking
  • Proficiency in working with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other paid advertising platforms
  • Proficiency in setting up and reporting from GA4
  • Understanding of organic social media marketing
  • Experience with email marketing and email drip campaigns
  • Possesses functional knowledge and/or personal experience with WordPress a plus
  • Experience working with analytical software a plus

Education

  • Degree in digital marketing or related field
  • Google Analytics and Ads certified strongly considered
  • 3+ years of experience, agency experience preferred
