POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Recruiter to join our HR team. The Junior Recruiter will assist in the recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and supporting the onboarding process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in recruitment and human resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilize The Applicant Tracking System to source potential candidates from various job boards.
  • Screening Resumes: Review and evaluate resumes to identify suitable candidates for open positions.
  • Conducting Interviews: Schedule and conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Coordinating Interviews: Arrange interviews between candidates, hiring managers and the CEO/COO, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Maintaining Records: Update and manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate candidate information and status updates.
  • Candidate Communication: Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.
  • Assisting with Onboarding: Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, and coordinating orientation sessions.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment to continuously improve the hiring process.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.
  • Duties: Any other duties assigned

Qualifications:

Education:

Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Previous experience in a recruitment or HR role is a plus, but not required.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.

Base Salary: Minimum $55,000 max $67,500 per year

Bonus/STI: Eva-Last Americas Incentive Plan for Staff II – 50% of incentive is based on personal performance with a payout up to 5% of base salary paid quarterly determined on your personal scorecard and performance. An additional 50% of incentive is based on company performance with a payout target of up to 5% base salary, based on company performance metrics as determined annually. Total potential incentive is up to 10% of base salary.
