Michelli Weighing & Measurement is hiring an Inventory Analyst for Accounting as a Full-Time job in Houston, TX or Harahan, LA.

Reporting to the Controller and partnering with the CFO, and other cross-functional teams of the organization, the Inventory Analyst wlil help administer the reporting of all inventory related transactions for the organization while also optimizing the organization's overall inventory levels. The Inventory Analyst will lead all financial administration, business planning, and budgeting related to inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly inventory and cost of good sold for the financial statements and reports

  • Prepare inventory records by site, entity, and any other presentation that is needed to support the business and any ad-hoc reporting as required

  • Responsible for monitoring and analyzing inventory levels, identifying trends, and making recommendations to optimize inventory management

  • Responsible for defining and managing all inventory control processes including cycle count procedures and full counts

  • Assist with ERP Financial conversion to consolidate inventory reporting into one system while maximizing full efficiencies of the new inventory management system

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Masters and CPA preferred

  • Experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks, JP Morgan Chase, and Expensify preferred

  • Past experience identifying & implementing process improvements and lead change management efforts

  • Ability to work in Microsoft Office and Google Spreadsheets

  • Ability to work over 40 hours when needed and travel quarterly
