We are looking for a motivated Business Office Manager to oversee the internal and external
operation of the community and the business office including A/R, A/P, Resident Information,
and accurate reporting. This position would assist with multiple regions and would require travel to the Northern Virginia area and occasionally Williamsburg, VA.


Duties/Responsibilities:
• Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and evaluates all Team Members to ensure the
highest quality of care is provided for the Residents
• Monitors the day-to-day work provided by the Team; supervising, critiquing, suggesting,
and educating the Team on proper work standards
• Helps coordinate the Residents' move in and orients new Residents into the community
• Completes initial paperwork on new admissions
• Coordinates training and Team Member meetings
• Human resource tasks including but not limited to interviews, orientation, payroll, inservices etc.
• Responsible for handling petty cash and Resident fund accounts
• Establish and keeps a good working relation with all Residents, families, visitors,
vendors, and outside agencies
• Completes new admissions
• Knows and follows Emergency Procedures, Elopement, and all other procedures
• Responsible for keeping Resident information confidential; respecting Resident rights;
respecting privacy


Job Qualifications:
• Must have good organizational skills along with supervisory skills
• Must be willing to praise and discipline team members as appropriate
• Must have good time management
• Must have an acceptable criminal record check
• Documented TB Screening
• Must have or complete CPR/1st Aide within the first 60 days of employment
• Must perform tasks with grace; works cooperatively with supervisors and display
willingness to assist co-workers
• Looks for ways to improve the community function
• Ability to utilize and apply basic management skills
