Summary: WindRiver operates several different businesses including, but not limited to, real estate, club membership, hospitality, dining, events, golf, and marina management. As Golf Associate, you will coordinate with Pro-Shop staff on outside golf operations, ensuring a smooth transition for members around the facility, as well as assisting with Pro-Shop service and retail operations.


Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Member Service:
  1. Meet and greet all customers in a warm, friendly, and professional manner in accordance with WindRiver policies and procedures
  1. Handle all requests, complaints, comments, or concerns from guests in a friendly and professional manner and refer to Supervisor when necessary
  1. Outdoor Operations:
  1. Maintain the cart fleet by following strict procedures for cleanliness and general operation
  1. Responsible for daily operations of range ball recovery utilizing both mechanical and hand machinery and equipment
  1. Maintain property, ensuring it is neat, clean and free of all trash and waste
  1. Wash the range balls and set the range as needed
  1. Follow proper opening and closing routines for both cart and range operations
  1. Maintain supply inventory, tracking and reporting when additional supplies are needed
  1. Rotate golf carts to ensure uniform usage amongst the fleet, paying close attention to condition, fuel levels, and electric charge
  1. Assist golf shop personnel in the tournament setup of carts and golf range
  1. Perform other duties as required by the business
  1. Indoor Operations:
  1. Register golfers at the counter and move them to the outside personnel in the most friendly, and expedient manner available.
  1. Answer phones, direct calls, and answer customer questions professionally
  1. Schedule and maintain golfer tee times
  1. Inform players of course rules and regulations
  1. Accurately ring up sales in the POS, including golfer fees and pro shop merchandise
  1. Aid in coordinating and provide assistance in tournaments and events
  1. Assists guests with all their needs while in the pro shop
  1. Maintain the pro shop environment by keeping the shop neat and orderly by general housekeeping duties
  1. Accept orders/shipments and stocks shelves/racks as needed

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma preferred
  • 1 year customer service experience required
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a valid Drivers license

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to perform a wide variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Demonstrated positive interpersonal and communication skills with staff and customers
  • Team player
  • Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations

Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, twist, kneel, lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50lbs. Must be able to stand and continuously move for up to 8 hours at a time.
