Position SummaryThe Beverage Cart Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests on the golf course, serving beverages and other requested items efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate the beverage cart along the designated course route.
- Quickly serve beverages and other items to course patrons.
- Complete Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service training and comply with relevant policies.
- Verify the identification of patrons requesting alcoholic beverages who appear to be under 35 years of age.
- Manage and account for the cash register on the cart.
- Maintain stock levels on the cart, including loading and unloading items.
- Complete inventory worksheets to ensure accurate tracking of stock and tips.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the cart and dispose of trash at the end of each shift.
- Adhere to golf course etiquette and maintain a professional appearance.
- Exhibit a commitment to the club's success by fostering positive interactions with staff and guests.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by club or company management.
- Regular and punctual attendance for all scheduled shifts is essential.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to deliver high-quality customer service.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Capability to operate the beverage cart safely.
- Must meet the legal serving age as per state regulations.
- Aptitude for basic math and accurate cash handling.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred.
- Visual and auditory abilities to read documents, operate a computer, answer phones, and communicate effectively.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to climb, stoop, squat, and kneel as needed.
- Dexterity for using phones, typing, writing, and driving.
- Ability to lift items weighing over 25 pounds occasionally.
