POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Support Associate plays a vital role in assisting the Callaway Golf sales team. This position is essential for managing sample coordination and providing necessary resources for sales initiatives. The individual will ensure comprehensive support for the sales team, contributing to overall operational success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Coordinate seasonal sample requests and monitor sample deliveries to the internal sales team and external representatives.
  2. Receive, unpack, and systematically organize samples for the showroom and office.
  3. Prepare samples for presentations and pack for offsite engagements as required.
  4. Handle sample requests for trade shows and distribute to representatives and clients as necessary.
  5. Maintain organized sample collections in the showroom and office, updating them seasonally or as needed.
  6. Edit and manage seasonal workbooks.
  7. Create product assortment documents and presentations in various formats (PDF, PowerPoint, Excel).
  8. Maintain digital records of workbooks, assortments, and product information for representatives, dealers, and sales management.
  9. Identify and recommend opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency and cost-saving measures.
  10. Assist with additional projects or requests as required.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, be resourceful, organized, and efficient. Familiarity with outdoor/sport brands and apparel is advantageous. The ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities is essential. Candidates should be detail-oriented and analytical, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position offers a flexible workspace arrangement, with a hybrid model allowing for remote work 1-2 days per week. The role is primarily office-based, involving significant communication via phone and email. Some travel may be required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Preferred candidates will have at least one year of relevant customer service or sales support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
