Key Responsibilities
- Negotiation Expertise: Secure advantageous deals for gear sales, both through our online marketplace and direct client negotiations, demonstrating exceptional communication and persuasion skills.
- Internal & External Communication: Champion clear, concise, and professional communication in all interactions, both internally with colleagues and externally with clients and partners.
- Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and market research.
- Client Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients in the AV industry. Understand their needs and present tailored AV solutions that align with our offerings.
- Sales Process: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals. Track and manage sales activities using CRM software.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities in the AV space. Use this knowledge to inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with company goals and initiatives. Provide feedback to improve product offerings and marketing strategies.
- Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs. Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecast to management.
- Customer Feedback: Collect and communicate customer feedback to the product development team to ensure our AV solutions meet market needs.
What we are looking for:
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of successful experience in sales or business development, preferably within the B2B or online marketplace sectors.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and demonstrating consistent revenue growth.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and effectively negotiate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to achieving objectives.
- Proficiency in CRM software and comfortable working with market research tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to ethical and professional conduct in all interactions.
