Job Description:

As an HR Coordinator and Scheduler at In-Home Caregivers of Illinois, you will play a vital role in promoting our mission to promote health, vitality and creating moments of joy and happiness for the clients we serve. Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate schedules will directly impact the lives of our clients and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Caregiver Scheduling:

- Develop and maintain caregiver schedules to ensure adequate coverage and consistency for all clients.

- Coordinate with caregivers to accommodate their availability and preferences.

- Adjust schedules as needed to address last-minute changes or emergencies.

2. Recruitment and Onboarding:

- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.

- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork and training are completed.

3. Employee Relations:

- Serve as a point of contact for caregiver inquiries and concerns.

- Foster a positive work environment by promoting company values and culture.

- Conduct regular check-ins with caregivers to ensure job satisfaction and address any issues.

4. Compliance and Documentation:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding caregiver certification and training.

- Track and document caregiver training hours and certifications.

5. Collaboration:

- Work closely with the management team to align scheduling and HR activities with company goals.

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Experience in HR coordination or scheduling, preferably in the healthcare or home care industry.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.

One day, an unexpected emergency arises when another caregiver calls in sick. Thanks to your proactive planning and strong relationships with our team, you swiftly rearrange schedules and find a suitable replacement, ensuring that our clients continue to receive uninterrupted, high-quality care.
