Key Responsibilities
Position SummaryAs a vital link between sales teams and warehouse management, you will assist both internal and external customers with various inquiries. Your role will involve providing administrative support to warehouse operations and maintaining accurate records related to production, shipping, and material certifications.Detailed Job Description

Primary Duties:

  • Serve as a liaison among Sales, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to address and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate basic transportation requirements and communicate effectively with drivers for standard shipping.
  • Maintain accuracy in the system for all truck loads and ensure timely delivery for specific processes or materials.
  • Deliver work orders to the relevant personnel.
  • Draft necessary job-related correspondence, including memorandums and emails.
  • Generate ad hoc reports as required.
  • Manage a high volume of daily communications.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the work order process.
  • Participate in and adhere to all Health, Safety, Quality, and Lean initiatives.
  • Complete all tasks in a safe manner, utilizing personal protective equipment as required.
  • Assist with additional duties to support operations as directed by supervisors or managers.
  • This role involves working directly on the warehouse floor, around heavy machinery.
  • Meet all employee attributes and competencies as outlined by the company.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with two years of experience in planning or scheduling within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Physically capable of standing, bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to read and write in English and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry tasks.
  • Possess a safety-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of experience in customer service.
  • Completion or progress towards a two-year degree.
