You will have a significant impact on the strategic finance and corporate finance operations of the Company. You will utilize data-driven insights and analysis to guide financial and operational decision-making throughout the organization. This position, reporting to the Director of Finance, will be instrumental in driving long-term value creation for the company.
In this role you will:- Support the maintenance of the long-term, driver-based, detailed financial model for the business (e.g. 5+ year operating model), quantify sensitivities to various internal and external drivers, and constantly consider options for improvement
- Work closely with department leaders at the Company to support their achievement of their operational and functional goals
- Actively involved in annual expense budgets and monthly forecasting for the Company, including headcount, capacity planning, and expenses, along with analyzing and presenting the results
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages in coordination with Accounting; perform analysis of monthly, quarterly and YTD performance against budget and prior year results
- Perform various portfolio analyses including covenants analysis, default curve expectations, collection curve analyses, etc. to bridge future portfolio performance to financial performance
- With a strong understanding of the business drivers, collaborate closely with other departments to provide cross-functional analyses using quantitative, qualitative, and financial analysis
- Create presentations to internal (e.g. Leadership, Executives, company-wide) and external (e.g. lenders, advisors, investors) stakeholders regarding the financial health and performance of the business
- Support corporate finance initiatives such as negotiations with financing providers and any M&A opportunities that arise, including tracking the competitive landscape

- 6+ years of professional experience
- 2 years of experience in an operating company (Corporate Finance, FP&A, Finance, Strategic Finance or similar), financial services sector experience preferred but not required
- At least 2 years investment banking/private equity experience
- Exercises extreme attention to detail; is thorough, accurate, organized, and productive and seeks to understand both the cause and effect of a situation
- Advanced analytical abilities including exceptional financial modeling and scenario planning skills
- Strong ability to translate complex business issues into an Excel-based framework for analysis and to derive insights
- Robust ability and experience in building three-statement financial models in Excel, as well as valuation, discounted cash flow, and IRR methodologies
