Vertical Mechanical Group (VMG) is an industry leader that brings expertise in both HVAC and Plumbing. Our company was originally known as Anderson Mechanical Services, Inc and Inspiration Plumbing Company. We brought these two respected companies together to provide our clients with award winning expertise in HVAC and Plumbing for new construction, improvements, renovations, upfits, design-build, and installations in the commercial space.

We are looking for a Estimator to join our growing team. The Estimator will play a crucial role in developing successful estimates for commercial plumbing and hvac projects. This role involves a mix of negotiated hard bid and design build work, requiring close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure accurate and thorough estimates.

Requirements for this role include:

  • 8+ years of estimating, engineering, construction, or project management experience in related markets.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience working with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing professionals is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Technical background with an understanding of building engineering and commercial projects.
  • Detailed knowledge of resource planning and financial planning.
  • Excellent writing, organization, and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • General knowledge of construction principles and practices.
  • Team player with a passion for innovation and optimization.

This position would be eligible to work in a remote setting.
