Inside Sales Account Director

Really Good Stuff (RGS) was named one of the Hartford Business Journal's Best Places to Work in 2023 and we are looking for an enthusiastic Inside Sales Account Director to join our amazing team
The ideal candidate must be professional, goal oriented, a team player and self-motivated. They can multitask and manage multiple accounts as well as build strong meaningful relationships with their customers. The Account Director will expand and cultivate business opportunities by strategically targeting the public-school, K-12, customer base of RGS within a specified region.
Responsibilities:
- Forge strong lasting relationships between school districts and RGS.
- Make outbound phone sales building a book of business within a defined territory.
- Utilize proven sales methods to prospect and identify new opportunities.
- Develop growth plans for existing customers.
- Learn, understand, and teach the value of our products in the education market, specifically in K-12 public schools.
- Overachieve daily activity expectations and metrics.
- Strive to meet and exceed designated monthly sales goals and motivate others on team to do the same.
- Prepare quotes and bids as needed.
- Negotiate contracts with clients.
- Devise a strategy to enhance client outcomes.
- Develop a complete understanding of district-level needs.
Requirements:
- 2 + years of successfully selling to K-12 public schools in the education market.
- 4 + years inside sales experience successfully cold calling and building relationships over the phone.
- Experience selling into Head Start programs is a plus.
- Enjoys collaborating with sales team to maximize profitability up-selling or cross-selling.
- Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members.
- High energy, self-motivated, enthusiastic, dynamic, goal oriented, and success driven.
Position offers a competitive salary, bonus, and benefits based on experience.
This will be an in-office position if candidate is local to our Shelton, CT office.
