JOB DUTIES
As an E & I Technician - in manufacturing you will:
- Diagnose electrical and/or communication issues to return the line to running condition.
- Perform frequent machine inspections at various critical points to assist with production flow and minimize downtime
- Perform daily activities following proper safety practices
- Read and understand schematics drawings and manuals. Record information on control systems and maintain documentation on terminal instrumentation.
- Meets with vendors to acquire skills and knowledge pertaining to technology advancements, cost control, and alternative solutions to reoccurring problems.
- Reports daily work order status to Maintenance Coordinator
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Additional training beyond high school is required (Electronics, Industrial, PLC Programming, etc)
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus
- Ability to work a rotating shift schedule, overtime, holidays, and weekends
