Job DescriptionJob DescriptionUnder the general supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, the Provider and Community Relations Manager, is responsible for developing comprehensive recruiting plans to identify and recruit physicians and mid-level providers; initiates contact and timely follow-up with prospective physician and mid-level candidates. Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with local residency and fellowship programs within the market. Responsible for maintaining and updating HRSA, Bureau of Clinician Recruitment and Services and National Health Services Corps site. Determines appropriate recruitment efforts within organizations, recruitment fairs, specialty conference, residency programs, schools and journal advertising. Arranges on-site visits including travel, interview and community tour. Coordinates subsequent communication with candidates, i.e., J-1 Waiver, privileging, submission of all credentials. Coordinates placement and follow-up of resident and student rotations through designated school or organizations. Responsible for activities associated with credentialing or recredentialing physicians and providers, including processing provider applications and re-applications and ensuring high quality standards are maintained. Conducts audits and provides feedback to reduce errors and improve processes and performance. Assist with ongoing retention efforts and marketing physicians to the community. Assist the Chief Operating Officer in community relations and organizational marketing. Represents NEON determined community events, physician job fairs,speciality education conferences and /or residency program presentations as assigned. Performs other projects, duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field of study.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Five (5) years direct experience in the recruitment of physicians and mid-level providers.
  • Excellent skills for working in a team environment, communicating with physicians, mid-level providers and working in close collaboration with internal staff to successfully meet goals.
  • Knowledge of federal and state healthcare programs, third party providers, managed care and community agencies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; ability to relate to all levels of staff, providers and patients from diverse backgrounds.


Technical Skills:
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Outlook, Internet Search and Database Functionality.
  • Ability to learn and operate NextGen.
