Investment Operations Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Investment Operations Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a crucial member of our investment operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of investment portfolios, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, knowledge of investment processes, and experience in investment operations or related fields.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Trade Processing: Execute and monitor trade orders for investment portfolios, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of trade settlements, cash balances, and portfolio holdings to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Performance Reporting: Generate and distribute performance reports for investment portfolios, including returns, benchmarks, and attribution analysis.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor investment guidelines and regulatory compliance requirements, including reviewing investment restrictions and guidelines.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in investment management systems and databases.
- Client Servicing: Respond to client inquiries related to investment operations, performance reporting, and portfolio information.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with custodians, brokers, and other external vendors to facilitate smooth operations and resolve issues.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in investment operations workflows.
- Documentation: Maintain documentation of procedures, controls, and workflows related to investment operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with portfolio managers, compliance officers, and other internal stakeholders to support investment activities.
