Job Title: Investment Operations Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Investment Operations Manager to oversee our investment operations department. As the Investment Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the daily operations of our investment processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in optimizing operational workflows, supporting investment strategies, and maintaining high standards of client service.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee investment operations activities including trade processing, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.
Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and controls to ensure smooth functioning of investment processes.
Monitor and evaluate operational performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and other departments to support investment strategies and execution.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices in investment operations.
Manage relationships with custodians, brokers, and third-party service providers to optimize service delivery and resolve issues.
Lead and mentor a team of investment operations professionals, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Prepare and review investment reports, performance metrics, and operational analyses for senior management and clients.
Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting investment operations.
Skills Required:
Strong leadership and managerial skills with a proven ability to mentor and motivate a team.
In-depth knowledge of investment operations, including trade lifecycle, settlement processes, and reconciliation.
Familiarity with financial instruments, market operations, and regulatory requirements.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in investment management systems and financial software.
