YOUR ROLE AS A Sr. Public Affairs ANALYST
ATOLLO is seeking an experienced Sr. Public Affairs Analyst with Navy Shipyards experience. The successful candidate will serve in support of our U.S. Navy customer's operations and stakeholder engagement requirements. As a Sr. Public Affairs Analyst at ATOLLO, you will serve as a critical communicator between the Navy organization and the public. The successful candidate MUST have a comprehensive understanding of naval shipyard operations and the ability to effectively convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that enhance the Navy's image and promote its shipyard-related activities, and they must possess and maintain a SECRET clearance.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective presentation skills, a professional attitude, along with an ability to lead and work as a member of a team and effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS SR. Public Affairs Analyst Opportunity
To excel as a Sr. Public Affairs Analyst at ATOLLO, you must possess a bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field (an advanced degree is preferred). The successful candidate must also have 5 years of experience in public affairs, communications, or a related field. However, direct experience with naval shipyards or defense-related public affairs is highly desirable.
The knowledge and skills required for the position include:
- Possessing a strong understanding of public affairs principles and media relations
- Serving as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and developing relationships with key media representatives.
- Developing a strategic communication plan that announces key events, milestones and outreach programs.
- Effective communication that ensures mutual understanding and collaboration
- Prepare and implement crisis communication plans and function as a spokesperson during crisis
- Monitor media coverage and public perception to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies
- Strong leadership skills and team orientation that promotes coordination and collaboration with key stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal customers and develop internal communication materials
- Proficiency in written and oral communication
