Position Overview:
We are in search of a Project Analyst to deliver strategic and program management support aimed at enhancing and sustaining the mission of a bureau within the Department of State. Key responsibilities include:
- Acquiring comprehensive knowledge of client issues, requirements, and contexts.
- Assisting in the development of internal communication strategies to maintain staff awareness and understanding of essential bureau initiatives, priorities, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinating and providing logistical support for briefings, workshops, working groups, integrated project teams, committees, conferences, and other operational activities.
- Supporting initiatives focused on diversity, culture, and cross-bureau collaboration, including organizational enhancements (e.g., training strategy, technology strategy, onboarding strategy, and other critical outputs).
- Facilitating the collection of staff feedback to formulate and implement recommendations for improving Bureau processes.
- Assisting in the ongoing development, performance reporting, and updating of strategic planning documents.
- Communicating insights, results, and recommendations clearly through written presentations/reports and interactions with teams/clients.
- Collaborating with client stakeholders and working groups to create process maps, project plans, and identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
- Producing program materials using the Microsoft Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

- BA / BS Degree.
- Active Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain a Secret Clearance (Required).
- 1+ years of experience providing programmatic support to Federal government agencies.
- Program management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, etc.) is advantageous.
- Experience in creating, analyzing, and presenting surveys and data analysis.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report writing, slide deck development, and verbal presentations.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills and adaptability to shifting priorities.
- Ability to establish a high level of trust with clients.
About the Bureau:
The Bureau of Global Public Affairs (GPA) serves the American populace by effectively conveying U.S. foreign policy priorities and the significance of diplomacy to domestic audiences, while engaging foreign publics to foster understanding and support for U.S. values and policies.
Within GPA, the Office of the Executive Director (GPA/EX) is tasked with planning, coordinating, and executing policy for the bureau in areas such as financial, physical, administrative, and human resource management, as well as strategy and information technology. The focus of work will encompass:
- Communications and Culture.
- Strategy Implementation and Program Evaluation.
- Special Projects and Additional Support Tasks.
- Task Order Management.
Support in these areas will assist GPA/EX in achieving the following objectives:
- Fostering a culture of learning, transparency, and open communication.
- Reducing the time required for employees and external users to access key information.
- Driving continuous organizational improvement based on feedback from employees and leadership.
- Establishing a standardized approach to aligning work units with the GPA strategy, vision, and goals.
- Instilling a sense of pride among Department employees in being leaders in communication and public diplomacy best practices.
- Achieving organizational optimization in response to internal and external priorities and directives.
- Defining success criteria and assisting with goal setting.
Work Environment:
Censeo Consulting Group operates in a hybrid work setting, offering flexibility to work remotely while also utilizing our office located in the heart of downtown Washington D.C. This arrangement allows for convenient access to client meetings and a vibrant professional community.
Compensation and Benefits:
