Product Marketing Manager:

We are looking to add a self-directed Product Marketing Manager to lead our flagship business of IT Service Management and Asset Management. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will collaborate with the product manager, sales leadership, and marketing team to support effective growth plans. Key functions you would perform include refining messaging and positioning, sales pitch, market research, competitive analysis, participating in sales enablement efforts, strategic content creation, and developing external communications.

Product Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

  • Using market intelligence, tailor product messaging and positioning, identify target customers, understand competitor offerings, and keep up with industry trends.
  • Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.
  • Understand, document, and refine K-12 IT buyer personas, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make.
  • Go-to-market strategy: plan and execute the launch of new products and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan with sales, marketing, product development and executives to ensure successful roll-out and adoption.
  • Collaborate with marketing to drive campaigns that generate leads and build brand awareness.
  • Equip the sales team with the necessary tools, materials, and training to sell the product effectively, including creating sales collateral, presentations, and case studies that help demonstrate the value of the product to customers.
  • Act as the primary thought leader for the products you support externally, including speaking engagements and written works such as case studies.
  • Gather customer feedback through market research, customer interviews, win/loss analysis and become the "voice of the customer" at iiQ.
  • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote our story.

Key Skills / Experience:

  • 3+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in a SaaS business with at least 2 years of experience in a market-facing role (e.g. delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitive analysis and market research).
  • Proven understanding of and experience working in K-12 schools.
  • Understanding of and experience in the IT service management industry.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the customer journey from lead generation through opportunity and product lifecycle from concept, through to development, launch, and support.
  • Proven track record of executing successful product launches.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to sell ideas through creative & innovative presentations.
  • Prefer working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity. This role requires you to work across functions and departments to be effective. You are part of a Product Marketing team that thrives at the center of our organization, constantly interacting with teammates, prospects, and customers.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time to address multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, professional environment.
  • Atlanta-based preferred but not required.

What makes Incident IQ different:

  • We facilitate whole-person growth where employees are able to develop personally as well as professionally
  • We offer an energetic and collaborative environment; everyone's opinion matters
  • We produce software that empowers K-12 schools to run efficiently, allowing for a better classroom experience for students to THRIVE
  • We provide excellent work/life balance
  • Two amazing offices - a Downtown Atlanta office location and one at Halcyon in Alpharetta

Incident IQ offers a competitive salary based on experience with a benefits package for full time employees that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, and paid time off (PTO).
