The Role:
The Claim Specialist (CS) plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth claims process for patients who rely on mobility equipment. You'll act as a dedicated case manager, working directly with patients via phone to navigate the resolution of their damaged equipment after airline travel.
This position offers the reward of working in the healthcare field while maintaining a professional office setting.
Pay: $21/hr + bonuses
Key Responsibilities:
- Become the Patient's Champion: Build rapport and provide exceptional customer service to patients experiencing airline-related damage to their mobility equipment.
- Investigate & Manage Claims: Work collaboratively with technicians, airlines, and patients to gather information, assess claims, and find cost-effective solutions.
- Communication is Key: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all parties involved, ensuring everyone feels informed and supported throughout the process.
- Resolution Focused: Develop efficient and compassionate strategies to resolve claims in a timely manner.
