We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual for the position of Assistant Event Manager. This entry-level role comes with paid training and provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in event management. You will support the planning and execution of events, ensuring they run smoothly and achieve promotional objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating various events, including logistics and setup
  • Support the Event Manager in managing event schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Help oversee event staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operations
  • Engage with event attendees to provide information and enhance their experience
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of promotional materials
  • Monitor event activities and address any issues that arise
  • Provide administrative support, including preparing reports and tracking event performance
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement event strategies

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Enthusiasm for event planning and management
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Previous experience in event planning or management is a plus, but not required
  • A degree in event management, marketing, or a related field is a plus, but not required
