  • Rotating weekends (On call every 3rd Saturday- duration: 4hours)

SUMMARY: CORN and Rye Spirits is seeking an energetic individual to work directly under the VP of Beverage in a high-volume, ground floor, Spirits Catering operation with opportunity for growth for the right individual who possesses ambitious qualities.  The success of the Office Assistant will hinge upon the time management, organizational, and communication skills required for this position.


This is a new and exciting opportunity for a proven administrative professional who can grow alongside our company's forecasted expansion in the Wedding & Event Industry.

**Ideal Candidate will possess Wedding and/or Event Management experience and knowledge.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Including but not limited to)

  • Reports to and works alongside VP of Beverage
  • Managing & overseeing overall Office systems and operational procedures
  • Concentration on client, and vendor communications
  • Foster relationships with vendors and employees
  • Responsible for all communications with clients & vendors via Phone & Email
  • Participates and attends departmental meetings and training as appropriate.
  • Upholds high standards of product and customer service for self & team members.
  • Maintains professional relationships with Clients, associates & vendors.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Wedding and or Event Mgt. experience a plus
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as Office Administrator, Office manager. or assistant experience
  • Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Phone & Email)
  • Excellent Time management skills & ability to multi-task
  • Strong Organizational & planning skills with ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • Proficient in Google Calendar/Email
  • Knowledge of HR practices and procedures
  • Attention to detail with problem solving skills
  • Willingness and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:                                                

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven Admin or Office experience
  • Wedding, and/or Event Management PREFERRED.
  • All necessary Training will be supplied by VP of Beverage


COMPENSATION:

Compensation: $15-17 Hourly

VP of Beverage
