Sales Manager - Automotive - Southwest Houston Area

Our company is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive the success of our automotive dealership. The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the sales process, ensuring exceptional customer service, and achieving sales targets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports and actionable insights.
  • Manage the sales floor, ensuring a positive customer experience and maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions to keep the team informed and motivated.
  • Assist in resolving customer issues and concerns, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the selection and display of inventory, working closely with the inventory management team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, manufacturers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and service, to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in automotive sales management with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, and stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive sales processes, financing options, and industry trends.
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor sales performance and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales management tools.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience in automotive sales management.
