Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Team Coordinator to lead the operations team and manage activities related to the manufacturing processes during designated shifts or specific areas of the plant. Key Responsibilities:
-Ensure the safety of all employees by driving continuous improvement towards a true safety culture. Support corporate safety programs, develop SOPs, identify and eliminate hazards, and enforce all safety rules.
-Ensure adherence to all standards and programs related to safety, environmental, quality, maintenance, and manufacturing policies during designated shifts.
-Follow and support manufacturing or departmental activities in line with the site business plan. Deploy and communicate goals, objectives, and performance measures.
-Lead team members within a mill department or shift. Handle training, performance management, and communication of work schedules and daily assignments. Provide coaching, counseling, and performance feedback, and assist with corrective actions as needed.
-Assist in the hiring, interviewing, selection, and orientation process for new team members.
-Prepare detailed reports and maintain records and documentation accurately and on time.
-Drive process improvement, cost reduction, and continuous improvement projects as directed.
-Model company core values in all actions and decisions.
Required Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Two or more years of manufacturing work experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
-Understanding of and ability to interpret and apply HR, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
-Must be flexible with schedules and self-motivated.
-Proficiency in PC operations, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
-Ability to coach and lead a diverse workforce.
-Effective communication skills with reports, senior management, and other departments. Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
-Ability to work in and maintain a highly functional team environment.
-Excellent interpersonal skills.
