Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic, self-driven and motivated individual to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of our daily routines and procedures. The Inside Accounts Manager position supports the Sales Representative/ Manager in servicing existing customers and new prospects with a focus on administrative sales support in roofing/flooring/concrete sales. This position will also prepare and start the process for new leads and opportunities with customers, prepare proposals, track information for meeting turnaround times, and complete job packs for approved work. 

What you'll do:

  • Work closely with the Sales Rep/Manager in the local Market to maintain and grow existing accounts, as well as develop new accounts.
  • Tracking work orders, estimates, proposals.
  • Responsible for verifying all operations are meeting their turn-around time, and customer is receiving information by deadline.
  • Support the Sales Rep/Manager by troubleshooting service and repair issues with customers.
  • Prospect to identify regional account prospects.
  • Develop long-term relationships with decision makers of companies with multiple locations throughout the market. 
  • Email marketing to customers and prospects.
  • Travel as required to prospect and customer offices/sites to help senior sales representatives secure new business, make presentations, conduct negotiations, and maintain customer relations. Travel mainly entails local meetings when the Sales Rep/Manager will request.
  • Document daily activities and create/maintain updated prospect and client information in customer relations management (Dynamics) software.
  • Cold-call and qualify potential prospects.
  • Prepare reports of business transactions and business expenses.
  • Identify the service needs of clients, develop and execute a plan that is seamless for both the customer and our company.
  • Preparing Repair Proposals, submit and selling to existing customers.
  • Generating and maintaining reports for existing customers – KPI reports; scorecards from Dynamics; roof rating reports, etc.
  •  Preparing Billing/Job packets for sold repair work and beginning execution process.
  •  Updating clients with “specific” and “special” requests/needs/ongoing tracking.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, a plus is to have a focus in Communications, Business, Sales, or Marketing.
  • Cold Calling experience is required.
  • B2B experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong interest in a challenging and rewarding career.
  • Team-oriented, energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated and a good work ethic.
  • Strong skills in listening, organization and sales closing.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
