Job Description:
Gossett Concrete Pipe Co., Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to fulfill the position of Inside Sales Representative. This person will lead in all aspects and functions involving the project and customer management of ongoing projects at the company headquarters in Taylors, SC. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated strong leadership skills, the adeptness at problem solving, and clear strengths in coordinating and planning a complex job landscape.
Core Responsibilities:
Project Management throughout the sales, production, and shipping process.
Responsibility for the planning and scheduling of customer orders, based on ongoing active quote activity and communication with customers
Utilize current project tracking system
Become instrumental in the production planning process by accurate job planning and through customer interfacing
Maintain close communication and interaction with customers to ensure proper tracking and delivery of needed products
Create sales orders per job to be handed off to dispatch for shipment of products
Coordinate closely with sales management, dispatch, and production to ensure fulfillment of customer requests
Support sales in forecasting activities
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
5 7 years in concrete products industry
3 5 years in project management and/or inside sales function
Expertise in planning and scheduling multiple ongoing projects
Strong background in customer relationship building
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
Inherent focus on the customer interests and ability to translate that to the organization
High degree of self-motivation and desire to succeed
Operates with integrity and transparency
