Boise Cascade is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Communications Specialist who will create and manage content for our Company’s digital platforms, including social media, our intranet, and other collaboration sites in Sharepoint. The ideal candidate will play an important role in supporting the Corporate Communications team in delivering clear, engaging, and relevant information aligned with our brand, purpose, and values.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and manage our company’s digital content strategy.
  • Collect and evaluate metrics, such as website traffic and engagement rates, and make informed adjustments to the strategy to maximize engagement.
  • Manage the architecture of our intranet and other collaboration sites in Sharepoint and implement best practices for document libraries.
  • Develop content for our intranet and other collaboration sites in Sharepoint in collaboration with functional leads and subject matter experts.
  • Research, write, and edit articles for the news section of our intranet.
  • Create and manage content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Design and create graphics that align with our brand guidelines.
  • Translate complex information into clear, concise, and memorable messaging.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and provide communications support across the organization as needed.
  • Proactively build trust and maintain strong, cross-functional relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to our values of safety, integrity, respect, and the pursuit of excellence.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience writing, editing, and delivering communications on digital platforms, including social media
  • 3+ years of experience managing Sharepoint infrastructure
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Graphic design skills using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Teams

Preferred:

  • Experience with photography and video production
  • Experience in Human Resources
