Your Role
Firefly Health is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resource Associate to join our dynamic People & Culture team. In this role, you will support the employee experience and contribute to the development and execution of people-related projects. Your work will help foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, ensuring our employees are engaged, informed, and empowered.
You will:
- Provide support to employees by acting as the first point of contact for questions and requests, and escalate to stakeholders as necessary
- Support recruiting functions such as resume review, sourcing, and scheduling interviews
- Elevate, innovate, and execute onboarding processes for new hires to create a seamless and welcoming experience
- Plan and coordinate engagement activities that promote a strong sense of community among our team and that align with our company culture and values
- Assist in developing and distributing people-related internal communications including newsletters, announcements, and updates, ensuring that messaging is consistent, clear, and effectively reaches all employees
- Support the planning and execution of company-wide in-person events including the coordination of logistics, venues, and schedules
- Organize, maintain, and update the internal content library (intranet) for the People & Culture team, ensuring that all resources, policies, and documentation are current and accessible.
You’d be a good fit if you have:
- Experience in Human Resources, with an interest in employee engagement, onboarding, talent acquisition or related areas
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Desire to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
It’d be nice if you have:
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and other relevant software tools
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Passion for changing healthcare for the better
Our office is in Watertown, Massachusetts, but we’ve developed a robust remote working structure to give us more geographical flexibility while hiring for many positions. This role can be done largely remotely, there are several times a year when staff come together onsite for planning and team building.
