Are you a a seasoned supply chain professional looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact? Join our global team as a Senior Supply Chain Planner. You'll be responsible for ensuring that all materials are efficiently planned, procured, inventories monitored and controlled, and suppliers qualified ensuring quality materials are provided that consistently meet or exceed engineering specifications in a cost–effective and efficient method to meet customer requirements. This role is a critical role within the supply chain that will collaborate across the globe and support our growing operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As a materials planner, ensure accurate planning of Finished Goods and components, based on demand, for the CSafe Active product range. Be the link between customer service(demand), operations, supply chain team, and suppliers.
  • Plan and execute procurement of raw materials from global suppliers. Validate nightly MRP results and manage exceptions. Issue PO’s to suppliers in a timely manner.
  • As an SME (Subject Matter Expert) drive implementation of correct MRP procedures in ERP system (Sage X3) to translate Finished Goods demand into component demand, in partnership with IT. Ensure MRP accuracy in planning.
  • Update essential system planning data for components to ensure ERP system is effectively planning future requirements.
  • Drive a culture of innovation and implement best practices in Planning.
  • Maintain excellent relationships and communications with manufacturing and key suppliers to confirm production/shipping schedules and monitor open purchase orders for all orders to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Support Supply chain team to implement cost savings initiatives through process improvements, alternate material, and supplier sourcing.
  • Support the rollout of new customer programs/products as needed by ensuring establishment of new supply partners in local/global markets to support demand.
  • Inventory Control - Use Analytics and planning procedures to determine the accurate level of safety stock needed for components and Finished Goods to avoid stockouts while balancing the same with costs.
  • Inventory Control - Monitor monthly inventory metrics including slow moving inventory and initiate corrective actions in alignment with operations, Finance and Product Management.
  • Inventory Control - Work with internal and external partners and help implement correct processes to report and track inventory at partner locations. Support implementation of the same in SAGE X3.
  • Partner with Operations team on ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Able to manage own workload and able to perform tasks independently.
  • Develop and nurture a culture of “can do” and a positive atmosphere.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or supply chain management.
  • APICS certification preferred
  • 8+ years’ experience in materials management and inventory control
  • Solid understanding and experience in demand forecasting and production planning/scheduling.
  • Prior experience working on systems integration (across companies or BU’s) a plus.
  • Prior experience with materials planning in Airlines industry a Plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of planning in ERP systems. SAGE X3 preferred.
  • Excellent Analytics skills (Excel, Power BI).
  • Excellent leadership, communication skills and ability to influence high-level stakeholders across the globe.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguous situations and pivot quickly to changing demand.
  • Ability to lead conversations using data and work across time-zones.
  • Excellent Project Management skills, a Plus.
