Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Source and acquire packaging and ingredient materials essential for our production processes while adhering to budgetary limits and quality expectations.
2. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring effective communication and prompt deliveries.
3. Collaborate closely with scheduling, operations, and finance teams to synchronize procurement strategies with production timelines and financial objectives.
4. Oversee inventory management to avert shortages and excess stock, optimizing inventory levels and reducing carrying costs.
5. Work with cross-functional teams to forecast material requirements, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of procurement efforts with production needs, product modifications, and new product introductions.
6. Address and resolve any issues related to deliveries and invoicing with suppliers.
7. Conduct regular inventory assessments for stock items.
8. Ensure accurate pricing and delivery information is maintained within the ERP/MRP system.
9. Perform additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in procurement, ideally within the food or consumer packaged goods sectors
High School diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
