Job Summary

This role is ideal for a professional who excels in customer relationship management and possesses a keen acumen for business development. As an Account Manager, you will be pivotal in both developing new business opportunities and nurturing existing partnerships, ensuring client satisfaction and driving strategic sales initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and lead the growth and client relationship management strategy for each strategic relationship you manage, including qualifying and quantifying the opportunity for growth.
• Establish a comprehensive understanding of both the addressable market and competitive landscape within the accounts you oversee.
• Establish, maintain, and grow customer relationships at all levels, including the C-suite.
• Communicate with key clients to monitor expectations and satisfaction across both tactical updates and key strategic developments at Gooten.
• Understand the profile of the individuals on the other side of the table, identify the decision makers, and build a strategy that targets and services those people correctly.
• Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

• 1-2 years in direct customer experience
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc)
• Must have a strong understanding and experience with basic trade math, consumption data, trade spend, promo spend and funding, etc.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends in sales data
• Team player mentality
