Job Title: Senior Accountant FQHC


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of the organization.


Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the financial operations of the FQHC

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards

- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

- Prepare and file tax returns

- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring

- Provide financial analysis and reporting to management

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met


Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

- CPA certification preferred

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance

- Experience in healthcare finance preferred

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
